Bovine Brucella abortus positive serum derived from an experimentally infected animal, for use as a control in ELISA, CFT and Rose Bengal (only) veterinary diagnostic assays.

Storage

Store freeze dried serum at 2° to 8°C. Once reconstituted; store at -15° to -25°C for 1 year, or 7 days at 2° to 8°C.

Directions For Use

Reconstitute with 1ml sterile distilled water.

Additional Information

Heat inactivation of this product has not been carried out during the production of this reagent as validation work has shown that Brucella sp. are not present in Brucella antisera (validation document VHI002).

However, heat inactivation may be required for use in complement fixation tests. Refer to local CFT procedures.For in-vitro veterinary use only
