APHA Scientific offers a unique, comprehensive, high quality Pathology and Bio-Imaging service for research and diagnostic purposes to customers in both the public and animal health sectors, including access to specialised materials and advanced imaging capabilities.

Services are delivered in close collaboration with customers to support specific research and diagnostic requirements.

    The services include:

    Electron microscopy

    High-resolution imaging and analysis services to support research and diagnostics.

    • Full Service – sample preparation, image production and identification
    • Training and Support – to develop in-house capability and enhance their technical skills and use our Electron Microscope equipment
    • Tailored Package – to meet your specific individual requirements

    Pathology services

    Specialist pathology support across a range of diagnostic and research applications.

    Including cell ultrastructure, rapid negative staining, non-invasive live cell examination and x-ray microanalysis

    Pathology blocks

    We now offer access to selected pathology blocks to support research, validation and method development.

    Our materials are derived from a range of specimen types and can support diverse scientific applications. Due to the nature of archived material, availability varies over time.

    We work with customers to understand project requirements and identify suitable materials where available. Access is managed on a case-by-case basis to ensure appropriate use and full traceability.
