APHA Scientific to contribute expertise at chemical and biological risk management event
APHA colleagues will be attending a Star Ecotronics event Control of chemical and biological risk within the global supply chain; strategies, methods and models for risk mitigation and economic efficiency.
The event will take place on 12 May 2026 in Milan, Italy, at Palazzo Reale, Conference Room, Piazza Duomo 14, 20122 Milano. This provides an opportunity for existing and potential VETQAS customers to engage directly with subject matter experts, alongside a wider scientific programme addressing chemical and biological risk management. As part of the event, Dr Neil Dear, Head of VETQAS Proficiency Testing, will present on proficiency testing, ring trials and the use of biological reagents to validate diagnostic and serology methods. A key element of APHA Scientific’s participation will be a dedicated roundtable session, providing an opportunity for open engagement with customers. This session will enable direct discussion with the Head of VETQAS Proficiency Testing and APHA Scientific Business Development specialists, supporting practical conversations around customer experience and future needs. Topics are expected to include the 2026-27 contract year product offer, shipping and import requirements, proficiency testing reporting, accreditation of schemes, and customer feedback.
